CUSTOM PROPS
Performers and productions often require specialized, custom props. These props need to be conceptualized and created with the end result in mind - perfect coordination with the performance. Recent projects have included:

"Borg" costumes, similar to those on Star Trek

We are the Borg. This page has been assimilated. These costumes were made for a corporate entertainment production company. The costumes, which feature simulated-neon, real glowing-red eyes which insert into eye-pieces, facial "appliances" (the makeup-technical word for 'things stuck on an actor's face'), makeup, and full-body  gear.

Lauren made these costumes in about 2 weeks, using pieces and parts from children's toys, used sports equipment, novelty Batman costumes, theatrical/prop lighting, hoses from the hardware store, and parts of theatrical masks.


Walking "human tables" and custom drapes

Lauren designed these two "walking appetizer tables" as part of a futuristic theme event. The table has 4 legs with wheels, and comes apart to travel and store; it is put together on site at an event. The makeup, costume, and wig were designed by Lauren as well, for another futuristic costume for the same producer. Here, Lauren herself wears the costume for an event.
Lauren has also created Human statue costumes, period costumes, and other assorted needs.
